Bean Looking For This?
Bean To Bar chocolate tastings for personal or corporate events
I have been educating and entertaining in the name of chocolate for over 10 years in Toronto, Vancouver, and New Zealand. From small private groups to large 25+ gatherings, there’s always enough chocolate and information to share.
Events focus on fun and inspiring chocolate facts paired with many incredible chocolate and cacao samples. Samples revolve around dark bean to bar chocolate and cacao products.
Frequently Asked Questions
+What material is covered?
Generally the events will include a concise overview of the history of chocolate, how chocolate is made, and the some of the neurgastronomy behind flavour.
If you would like to add a theme (ex/ "Chocolate & Love" , or focus on one aspect of chocolate (more detailed history), I'm open to accomodating your requests so long as it remains within the values of Chocolate with Geoseph.
+ What is the menu?
My tastings generally focus on dark craft chocolate and cacao products (cacao beans, cacao juice). My default for samples is dark chocolate, plant based, nut and gluten free, and fairly traded. If you or your group prefer to taste outside this box, and prefer some or all milk chocolate or other types of chocolate products, please let me know.
These events are intended to be fun and educational, so I will focus on artisan craft bean to bar makers. That is, chocolate makers who prepare chocolate from the bean itself.
+ What is included?
Depending on the group size and format, the event will include the samples, and possibly tasting tools or literature to take home. Again, this will depend on the specifics of your event.
+ Do you also host chocolate making classes?
I can also host chocolate making (bean to bar) or bonbon/truffle making classes as well. The possibilities are endless! If you have another other ideas of what chocolate adventure you would like me to host, don't hesitate to inquire directly. I would be happy to find a service that suits your needs!
